Ernie visited Thanasi's Greek Restaurant on Wednesday,
November 25, accompanied by our good friend, CBS
Radio Sports Producer Norman Baer.

Norm was in town to produce the next day's Thanksgiving
Day national CBS Radio telecast of the Detroit Lions/
Pittsburgh Steelers game. (Detroit won in overtime.)

He is one of the nicest and most fascinating individuals you
will ever meet. Between him and Ernie, I think they know
just about every personality of the last century, from sports
legends, to entertainers, to politicians.

I am delighted to visit with Norm and Ernie whenever CBS
Radio does a broadcast from Detroit.

PS: Norm always remembers to bring me a couple of press
passes to whichever game he's producing...what a man!
