OUR FRIENDLY STAFF

Our friendly staff

Our staff consists of 9 highly trained and motivated individuals that are all specialists in their own fields. In an age where there is generally a staff turnover every 18 months in the field of dentistry, it seems that once staff arrives in our office they stay forever unless there is a move or pregnancy.

Even then, we have had approximately 10 children born to our staff over the years, and the staff keeps coming back. We must be doing something right.

Our secretarial staff consists of 3 individuals. Kerri is our office manager who has been with us for over 16 years. She is also probably the receptionist that you first meet when you come to the office or call on the phone.

Assisting her in this respect at the front desk is both Elaine who also has been here for 16 years and Natalie who has been with us for five years. Elaine is also our financial manager and will probably be the assistant that you will talk to about financial arrangements. Natalie will answer the phone when you call to assist you with your scheduling and answer questions.

Rhonda is our handy-man - or is it handy-woman - assistant who will provide you with the best surgical care one moment and fix your sink or hang door hooks the next. Indispensible. Kim is mainly our operating room assistant who will assure that you get the best of care in our office.

Dawn is not only a superb assistant, but also is our implant co-ordinator. If you are interested in implants, you’ll probably spend more time with her than me. She discusses dental implants with you, will arrange for all the appointments to be made, plus assure that you are adequately prepared for implant surgery. Dawn will even make you hot chocolate if you ask nicely!

We have two registered nurses on staff. Amber has been with us for over 8 years and represents the essence of excellence in her job as well as being a kind and understanding nurse. Laura is one of our newer staff members, yet has been with us for over a year. She provides a warm, really caring and often humorous attitude to what might have been a stressful situation for you. In addition, she has the responsibility of arranging your hospital appointment if indicated.

Our dental assistants have over 20 years of oral surgical experience among them. Dianne plays a dual role dividing her time between assistant and receptionist. She excels in both areas. She may greet you at the front desk and then quickly run around the counter to meet you as you enter the dental suite.

I must say that I truly have a wonderful team. They are dedicated, caring , professional, hard-working and will do their utmost to provide the best possible care for you. They are my staff. They are an extension of me.
