Dr. Dave Doerksen

Dr. David Doerksen, a native of Coaldale, Alberta, has practiced anesthesia in Windsor, Ontario since 1973. A graduate of the University of Manitoba's Medical School in 1967, he completed his internship at Calgary General Hospital in 1968, followed by a four-year Fellowship at the University of Western Ontario in London.

In 1975, Dr. Doerksen became a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesia. Since 1980, Dr. Doerksen has been affiliated with Dr. Gerald Silverman, providing anesthesia to thousands of patients undergoing oral and maxillofacial surgery. This is in addition to his regular practice at Grace Hospital in Windsor where he became Chief of Anesthesia in 1986.

In his spare time, Dr. Doerksen enjoys curling, traveling as well as spending time with his wife Carolyn and daughters Cara and Michelle.
