Aphrodite (called Venus by the Romans) is arguably the most fascinating of the Olympian gods. Hey, she's the gorgeous goddess of Love, after all, and no matter the century, Love will never go out of style. She played a major role in Greek and Roman mythology, and there is a wealth of material on her.
